Since the beginning of this year, the Lianyungang Metrology Center has further improved the measurement and testing capabilities to meet the needs of enterprise metrology verification, calibration, and inspection work. It has actively prepared the “0.02-stage piston pressure gauge” technical transformation project and will test the existing piston pressure gauges. From the original 0.05 (second class) to 0.02 (first class). During the construction process, the city's metrology center arranged for the inspection personnel working on the project to go to the domestic first-class production companies and technical inspection agencies to carry out inspection study and technical exchanges in order to fully prepare for the “0.02 piston pressure” testing.

The piston pressure gauge is a meter that measures the pressure using the principle of hydrostatic balance (ie, the fluid pressure acting on the effective area of ​​the piston is balanced with the gravity of the load). It can transmit signals to precision pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, differential pressure transmitters, pressure sensors, pressure signal generators, and digital pressure gauges. It has features such as wide range, high accuracy, stable technical performance, and easy use. .

After completion of this technical transformation, the city's Metrology Center became the first statutory technology testing institution in the northern Jiangsu region to complete this technical transformation project, which can meet the high-end testing needs of piston pressure gauges by companies in Lianyungang and surrounding areas.
