It is an important development trend to perform gas quenching instead of oil quenching in an inert gas of 1000-2000 kPa after carburizing with multiple furnaces.
Heat treatment process material market demand
Heat treatment process materials (quenches, seepage agents, anti-seepage agents, atmosphere and salt baths) and auxiliary materials (cleaners, rust inhibitors, desiccants, catalysts, etc.) are an important part of the heat treatment technology. Without quality process materials, the quality of heat-treated parts and various products cannot be guaranteed. The largest amount of quenching agent in the heat treatment process material. The annual demand for heat-treated quenching oil in the country is estimated at 30,000 tons, while that for commercial quenching oil is only about 3,000 tons.
Although the market prospects of China's heat treatment industry are very promising, there are still many problems, such as unbalanced development of the enterprise, low degree of specialization, relatively large energy waste, most of the equipment is still old, weak awareness of environmental protection and safety production, and new equipment development capabilities.
