Pingjiang County established Yueyang's first inland small vessel crew training center

Recently, in the joint efforts and efforts of the local marine affairs department of Pingjiang County and the vocational and technical schools of Pingjiang County, the Hunan Provincial Maritime Safety Administration officially approved the Pingjiang County Vocational and Technical School to carry out the training of crew members of inland small vessels. At this point, Pingjiang County became the first county-level unit in Yueyang City to have a training institution for crew members of inland small vessels. This is the third training institution in Hunan Province with relevant qualifications. The approval of this institution will further promote the standardization and standardization construction of the inland river crew training in Pingjiang County, which will help improve the professional skills of the crew of Pingjiang County.
It is reported that in late September, Pingjiang County Vocational and Technical School will hold a training course for crews of small vessels in the first period of the river to carry out basic safety training for crew members of inland rivers with a total of 100 tons and below, suitable post training and special training for crew members of passenger ships of 50 gross tonnage and below. After the work, it is expected to solve the problem of the backward professional knowledge and skills of the small mobile ship pilots in Pingjiang County and the unlicensed driving of some ship operators.
