Xichai National 3 High Power Diesel Engine won the National Invention Exhibition Gold Award
The 18th National Invention Exhibition with the theme of "innovative development, upgrading capabilities, strengthening cooperation, and service economy" was held recently at the Kunming International Convention and Exhibition Center. There are more than 1,700 inventions in the country participating in the exhibition. The "R&D and industrialization project of the high-power 3 diesel engine" selected by Xichai has won the gold medal for its outstanding autonomy, technicality, and economy.
The large-power 3 diesel engines exhibited by Xichai have two major types, L and N. The 6DL series covers 191 to 279kW, and the 6DN series covers 272 to 338kW. The Xichai High-power 3 diesel engine adopts the international advanced development process, independently completes the internal combustion purification system design without exhaust gas recirculation, autonomously carries out the function definition, overall design and performance matching of the common rail system. It has been the first to complete the performance development of the National 3 Engine in China, pioneering the method and process for calibration of engine gantry, calibration of the vehicle's three-high (high-heat, high-cold and high-altitude), establishment of a calibration database suitable for China's national conditions, and the formation of a complete electronic control system. The diesel engine development system has created the EOL system with Xichai's characteristics and successfully realized the industrialization of the National 3 diesel engine.
The Xichai High Power 3 diesel engine has 10 domestic patents, which fills the blank of the domestic 4-valve electric control common-rail country 3 diesel engines. The 3 diesel engines of Xichai Power Co., Ltd. are equipped with FAW Jiefang J5 and J6 “Aowei†heavy trucks, which are the core power of the Chinese heavy-duty vehicle diesel engine field and are also the sharp weapon of FAW Jiefang Co., Ltd. to seize the heavy truck market. The Xichai High Power 3 Diesel Engine has also been widely used in bus and coaches in large and medium-sized cities such as Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing. The series of diesel engines have been widely used by users with advantages such as powerful power, environmental protection, and reliable performance. It is widely recognized that the market prospect is very broad.
