Shanjiao Chemical Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to start the construction of synthetic ammonia project. Representatives from the Engineering and Materials Department, Chemicals Division of the Shaanxi Coal Chemical Group and the construction, design, and construction units of the project and leaders of the Shaanxi Jiao Company participated in the ceremony.

The synthetic ammonia project is another enrichment project after the successful completion of the two major projects by Shanjiao Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. This project is a technical renovation project for the comprehensive utilization of the 200,000 tons methanol project and is also a major undertaking of the Shaanxi Jiao Company. The benefit project, the project construction, will further improve the company's comprehensive utilization of resources, further extend the company's coking byproduct deep processing industry chain, to achieve the company's coking, give priority to, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of modern integrated chemical companies.

The project has a total investment of 170 million yuan and an annual output of 70,000 tons of synthetic ammonia. It will start construction in March and reach trial production conditions by the end of December. After the project reaches production, it will increase annual sales revenue by 150 million yuan and create profits of 63 million yuan. The smooth progress of the construction of synthetic ammonia projects has opened the prelude to the construction of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of Shan Jiao.
