Recently, the Northeast Development Department of the National Development and Reform Commission organized a symposium on the preparation of the National Sustainable Development Plan for Resource-based Cities. Peng Huijun, deputy director of the Northeast Development Department, stated that the plan has been included in the State Department's approval during the 12th Five-Year Plan period approved by the State Council. The overall plan for the special plan, after conducting expert consultations, will form a planning outline and work plan, and organize the team to officially initiate the preparation work.
