Nordic Asia considers upgrading the Pacific route

Nordia is currently considering whether to upgrade its Pacific route with Sinotrans and Wanhai. It is reported that the company plans early next year to invest their own 5500TEU new ships on the routes to replace all four current capacity on the route.

It is reported that the company will deliver a large number of new ships in the next 18 months. A number of new ships including six 6500TEU ships and six 5500TEU ships will be put into operation before the end of next year. Once the program is implemented, Wanhai and Sinotrans will cooperate with Nordic Asia on the route to lease the space. In addition, Nordic Asia plans to upgrade the capacity of the Asia/Middle East route in the near future.
