According to the newly revised “Interim Measures for the Administration of Public Transport Vehicle Demonstration and Promotion Funds of Shandong New Energy City” (hereinafter referred to as “Measures”), the provincial finance purchases energy-saving and new energy city bus vehicles for each district/region (excluding Qingdao). Public transportation enterprises and units give a one-time financial subsidy. The "Measures" stipulate that for enterprises and units that purchase pure electric city buses of 10 meters or more, provincial finances will be subsidized according to the standard of 400,000 yuan per vehicle; for the purchase of 8 meters (including) -10 meters (including) pure electric The enterprises and units of city buses shall be subsidized according to the standard of 350,000 yuan/unit; and the enterprises and units that purchase plug-in hybrid power (including extended-program) city buses shall be subsidized according to the standard of 250,000 yuan/unit; For enterprises and units that purchase natural gas buses of 200,000 yuan or more, subsidies shall be given according to the standard of 30,000 yuan/unit.
The energy-saving and new-energy bus vehicles included in the provincial financial subsidies mainly refer to pure electric city buses, plug-in hybrid (including extended-program) city buses and natural gas city buses (including LNG vehicles and CNG vehicles). Since the national subsidy policy for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles does not include natural gas city buses, enterprises and units in Zibo, Weifang, Linyi and Liaocheng purchase natural gas city buses can still enjoy provincial financial subsidies according to the Measures.
Energy-saving and new-energy urban bus vehicles that enjoy the subsidy policy should be selected through bidding. The models must be included in the “Vehicle Production Enterprises and Products Announcement” issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, “Recommended Models for Energy-Saving and New Energy Vehicle Demonstration and Application Projects”.
