Stainless Torx Oval Head Decking Screw, Knurled Shank, Type 17
This knulred shank torv oval head screw is an softwood decking screw, that combines high clamping results with rapid installation. "U" Type knurled shank is better to pull down, reduces the risk of timber splitting and drag on shank, also makes the screw easier to drive.Â
Type 17 makes it quiker and easier to drill it and also reduces the timber splitting. Oval heads are countersunk (cone shaped under the head) with a rounded top. Star drive is a Torx compatible drive, designed to minimize the risk of cam-out (stripping).
