After more than a year of dedicated research and hard work by the company's technical staff, on December 25, 2013, the YNF40 diesel engine prototype was successfully ignited at the Yunnei Power Technology Center.

As a mid-to-high-end, four-valve four-country and country-five diesel engine that can cover the power segment of the existing 4105, 4108, and 4110 products, the YNF40 mainly matches the 7 to 10 meters of CMB and 6 to 15 tons of medium- and heavy-duty trucks on the market. Power 125KW, maximum torque 600N · m, and has the potential to upgrade the country's six emission levels. At the same time, the gradual expansion of the YNF40 diesel engine will result in the formation of non-road models and natural gas models including various types of YNF40 and YNF45. The centralized R&D and modular design based on YNF40 platform products has greatly improved the versatility of parts and utilization of production lines, reduced the risks and costs of R&D production, and is more conducive to the promotion of market scale.
At present, the company's focus on the "engine of environmental protection and efficient light commercial vehicle industrialization construction project" is based on the YNF40 engine, can form an annual output of 100,000 units YNF40 engine production capacity.
