As one of the four major automobile groups in China, Chang'an Group did not miss the "blowout" of Chinese auto exports that began this year. Statistics from the Customs show that from January to October this year, Changan’s auto companies have exported 13,027 cars, ranking first among domestic automakers.
With the continuous development and growth of the domestic auto industry, this year, China’s auto exports have grown rapidly under the strong promotion of Changan, Chery, Geely and other national brands. As of October, more than 96,000 cars have been exported to overseas markets including Europe and the United States. Vehicles, Changan's minivans, trucks and utility vehicles, as well as Chery, Geely's cars have already gained a good reputation in overseas markets.
It is understood that the Changan and Jiangling brand cars under the Chang'an Group have been exported to dozens of countries and regions in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, including Changan’s own-brand small-displacement cars and utility vehicles. The sales of mini-vans, light vans and mini-buses in overseas markets rose. In addition, Changan CM8, which was listed on the market last year, has attracted great attention from overseas customers. Not only has it exported many batches in one year, it has also received numerous overseas joint ventures and cooperation intentions.
At present, Hebei Chang’an, one of the major export bases of the Chang’an Automobile Group, has successfully entered more than 30 countries and regions, including the United States and France, and is expected to export more than 5,000 vehicles this year; the new export manufacturing base, Jiangling Holdings, has been in May this year. Since the beginning of the export of the Landwind SUV to the EU market, it has successively formed close cooperative relations with local distributors in the Netherlands, Spain and other countries. At present, Chang'an has successfully entered dozens of countries and regions in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The models are mainly Changan’s own-brand small-displacement vehicles and SUVs, including single and double-row minivans, light passengers, trucks and minibuses.
It is reported that Changan's self-developed CM8 not only multi-batch exports, but also won the cooperation intentions of Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries, and established production lines in six countries such as Argentina, Syria. At this year's Shanghai auto show, Changan once received nearly 2,000 overseas orders.
Hebei Chang'an, one of the major export bases of Changan Automobile, is expected to export more than 5,000 cars this year. Its series of small-displacement cars such as the SC6390 and SC6391 are deeply loved by the United States and Jordanians.
Jiangling Jiangling Holdings will become a new base for Changan export SUVs. After the first batch of Landwind SUVs open the European market, the forthcoming Changan CV9 (Landscape Fashion) will also use dozens of distributors in the Netherlands, Spain, etc. next year.
