In early June, at the crucial moment when the company’s 600,000-ton/year calcium carbide project was about to be completed, they recruited 50 graduates from various colleges and universities to enrich their careers in calcium carbide stoves and conducted 21 days of closed training. After the training, the vocational skills appraisal station for the chemical industry-specific work types of the Inner Mongolia Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association carried out professional skills theory and practical assessment for the trainees, with a pass rate of 100%. Haichang Chemical is the first chemical company in Inner Mongolia to conduct professional skills appraisal of calcium carbide furnace workers.
