"Fog warning radar monitoring is based on optical remote sensing technology developed from inside a laser light source, in operation, the laser irradiation emitted into the atmosphere, the particles will produce scattering, and optical telescopes inside the radar system The scattered light signal is converted into an electrical signal and recorded and analyzed by the data acquisition system, so that the fog can be positioned. The current positioning accuracy can reach 7.5 meters, said Zhou Jian.

According to reports, this radar has two characteristics that make it possible to meet the commercial needs: one can detect the mist zone and the non-boundary region fog haze and visibility area; Second light emitting and improvement works, significantly reducing cost. At present, the method of laser radar automatic acquisition and protection of this system has already applied for national invention patents, and it is expected that mass production will be realized in 2018.
