China and Russia cooperate to break through key technologies of high-power lasers

Recently, entrusted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Science and Technology Department of Jilin Province organized an acceptance meeting for high-power laser technology research international science and technology cooperation projects. Experts from provinces such as Beijing, Heilongjiang, and Shandong were invited to form an expert group and accepted the project. The expert group believes that this project, through cooperation and innovation with well-known Russian institutes, has broken through many key technologies of the kilowatt-class high-power lasers; it has for the first time developed a continuous output kilowatt-class high-efficiency energy-saving semiconductor laser processing machine; it has achieved a hundred-watt quality Laser output. This achievement has been applied in important fields such as industry and medical treatment, achieved significant economic and social benefits, and won the second prize of national scientific and technological progress. Through the implementation of the project, the research team has established a long-term and stable cooperation mechanism with the Russian partners, formed a good international scientific and technological cooperation and exchange environment, and broadened the cooperation channels.
