The construction of the Pakistani Kantco natural gas compressor station project undertaken by the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Corporation No. 1 Construction Branch began in mid-October this year, and it has now completed the hot-air joint task.
The Kantco Natural Gas Compressor Station Project is located in the Condeco Gas Field, southern Sindi Province, about 480 kilometers northeast of Karachi, Pakistan. It is an important project for Chinese companies in Pakistan. The project contract was signed on March 16, 2007. The project is divided into two phases.
In late September of this year, China Petroleum Construction Pakistan’s project department strictly implemented the construction plan and construction plan in the hot work of the compressor station, detailed management and fine construction, and flanged and pipelined the new device and the old device. And on-site pairing and welding of natural gas output pipelines.
At present, more than 70 CNOOC employees who have participated in the project have continuously worked hard and have completed the work of simmering, purging, and replacing nitrogen, and have successfully introduced natural gas.
