Anchai delivered the first Daihatsu 6DC-17Ae diesel engine

According to CSSC News: Recently, Anqing Zhongchuan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. successfully developed the newly introduced 6DC-17Ae diesel engine and delivered the first machine. The aircraft will be used on the ocean-going fishing boat built by Penglai Zhongbo Jinglu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Taiwan shipowners.
It is understood that this type of machine has many advantages such as small size, high power, ability to burn heavy oil and meet the requirements of the International Maritime Organization Tier II emission standard. Its speed is 900 rpm, which is especially suitable for bulk carriers below 20,000 tons, 1 Multi-purpose vessels of around 10,000 tons, as well as generator sets on special engineering vessels and offshore fishing vessels, have great market potential in the future.
Last year, Anchai successfully signed the introduction contract for DC-17, DC-32 diesel engine and gas engine with Japan Daihatsu Diesel Co., Ltd. and MD-G Engineering Co., Ltd., which will further expand the diesel engine power and model of Anchai. The range of varieties laid the foundation.
