Recently, Voith Turbo announced that it has provided a propulsion system for the fifth VWT tugboat "Ilan". The ship's bollard has a pull of 70 tons and will serve the Israeli port of Haifa.
It is reported that the four "Ariel", "Eithanah 2", "Edvah" and "Amatzia 2" in front of the port fleet use the Voith Schneider Propeller (VSP) propulsion system. With the opening of the Carmel Terminal in the port in 2014, the fifth VWT tugboat is needed.
